Engineered for emergency smoke extraction and high-temperature heat evacuation in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure facilities. Built to maintain structural integrity and continuous operation at elevated temperatures (250°C to 400°C) for a minimum of 120 minutes during a fire event, conforming strictly to life-safety codes.
Key Features
Thermal Endurance Performance: Certified continuous operation under severe thermal stress up to 400°C for 120 minutes, preserving critical escape routes and maintaining stable smoke stratification layers.
Heavy-Duty Structural Rigidity: Heavy-gauge carbon steel or austenitic stainless steel housings engineered to prevent thermal warping and maintain tight aerodynamic blade clearances at peak operating temperatures.
Class H Motor Isolation: Equipped with specialized high-temperature-rated motors either isolated from the primary exhaust airstream or housed within internal insulated thermal shielding compartments.
Aerodynamically Optimized Impellers: Precision-welded airfoil or backward-curved blades deliver high static pressure efficiency with controlled acoustic signatures during emergency activation.
Dual-Duty Operational Capability: Configured for seamless day-to-day general ventilation, transitioning automatically to high-speed emergency smoke extraction upon receiving Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) triggers.

Construction & Working Principle
The assembly integrates a heavy-duty casing, high-temperature impeller, drive shaft, thermal motor package, and auxiliary cooling mechanisms.
Casing Fabrication: Rolled structural steel plate joined with continuous MIG/MAG welding. Flanges are laser-cut and reinforced with external stiffening rings to withstand high-pressure differentials without buckling under thermal expansion.
Impeller Engineering: Blades are welded directly to a heavy-duty machined hub. Each completed wheel undergoes computerized dynamic balancing on Schenck horizontal rigs to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5 to eliminate destructive vibration harmonics.
Drive Arrangement: Available in direct-drive or belt-driven configurations (Arrangement 1, 3, or 9). Belt-driven models utilize high-temperature cast iron pulleys and fire-resistant, anti-static V-belts housed outside the active thermal exhaust stream.
Working Principle: Upon receiving a 24V DC signal or dry-contact closure from the FACP, multi-speed motors or VFD bypass systems switch the fan to its maximum rated RPM. The high-velocity rotating impeller generates immediate negative pressure, drawing toxic smoke and hot combustion gases away from occupied zones and discharging them safely through vertical shafts or duct networks.
Applications
Underground Parking Structures: Rapid extraction of dense vehicle exhaust and toxic carbon monoxide during localized vehicular fires.
Road & Railway Tunnels: Longitudinal and transverse ventilation systems designed to clear large-scale smoke volumes and maintain visibility for emergency evacuation.
Commercial Atriums & Malls: Zoned smoke control and compartmentalization for large open-volume architectural layouts.
Industrial Manufacturing Plants: Evacuation of high-heat process off-gases, chemical fumes, or emergency thermal loads from heavy production floors.
Available Options
Protective Coatings: Hot-dip galvanized finish, anti-corrosive epoxy powder coats, or high-temperature silicone-based ceramic paint rated for thresholds exceeding 450°C.
Mounting Configurations: Roof-mounted exhaust cowls with backdraft dampers, wall-mounted intake/exhaust units, vertical inline duct fans, and reversible airflow models.
Accessories: Inlet/outlet safety mesh guards, matching counter-flanges, anti-vibration spring isolators, high-temperature flexible duct connectors, and motorized fire dampers.
Control Integration: Factory-wired junction boxes, vibration monitoring sensors, and local control panels compatible with standard Building Management Systems (BMS / LonWorks / BACnet).
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
Production is executed within our dedicated 35,000 m² manufacturing facility, relying on standardized machinery and strict quality control milestones:
Sheet Metal Processing: Trumpf CNC fiber laser cutting and CNC press brakes maintain dimensional tolerances within ±0.1 mm across all casing components.
Welding Compliance: Structural fabrication executed by certified welders operating under AWS D1.1 and ISO 3834 guidelines. Critical load-bearing seams undergo non-destructive testing (NDT) via magnetic particle inspection (MPI).
Dynamic Balancing: Every rotating assembly is precision-balanced to guarantee low vibration signatures under full-load operational stress.
Testing Verification: Aerodynamic performance is validated in an in-house AMCA-compliant test chamber. Thermal endurance ratings are verified through rigorous third-party laboratory furnace burn tests.
