What is a centrifugal fan used for?
It moves air or industrial gas through systems where duct, filter or process resistance must be overcome, including ventilation, dust collection, boiler draft and process air delivery.
How do I choose a centrifugal fan?
Confirm application, airflow, static or total pressure, temperature, gas or dust condition, duct resistance, voltage, installation direction and quantity before selecting the series.
What is the difference between 4-72, 4-68, 9-19 and 9-26?
4-72 and 4-68 are general ventilation directions. 9-19 and 9-26 are reviewed for higher-pressure forced-air, conveying and high-resistance duties.
Which centrifugal fan is suitable for dust collection?
It depends on dust loading, collector resistance, particle condition and fan position. Dirty-side and clean-side fan selection should be reviewed differently.
Which fan is suitable for boiler induced draft?
