4-79 Centrifugal Ventilation Fan

The 4-79 centrifugal ventilation fan is positioned for indoor air supply, exhaust and large-volume air exchange across factories, workshops, warehouses, machinery rooms and other large industrial spaces. The documented series extends from small direct-drive No.3A units through large No.20E configurations.

Standard catalogue duty is for air or other non-corrosive gas without sticky material. Dust and hard-particle content should not exceed 150 mg/m³, and gas temperature should not exceed 80°C.

Final model, speed, motor, transmission arrangement, rotation, discharge position and installation dimensions should be confirmed from the actual duty point.

Product Position

Indoor Air Supply & Exhaust Across Small to Large Ventilation Duties

The 4-79 series covers a broader documented size range than the old webpage showed. The original catalogue extends from No.3A small-size units through No.20E large-volume fans.

This broad A / C / E catalogue structure makes 4-79 suitable for indoor air exchange, supply and exhaust duties across different airflow levels and installation scales, provided the conveyed medium remains within the standard catalogue boundary.

For workshop and building ventilation planning, review the Industrial Workshop Ventilation System. Final model selection should then be confirmed from the actual airflow, pressure and project layout.

4-79 vs 4-72: both are general industrial ventilation families, but they should not be treated as direct one-for-one substitutes. Use 4-79 when its documented A / C / E size groups and duty range fit the project; use 4-72 when its own performance curve, A / C / D arrangement and installation conditions are the better match.

Catalogue Arrangement

A, C and E Groups by Fan Size

The original catalogue groups the 4-79 series by model designation and installation arrangement. Use these groups when checking the corresponding performance table, dimensions and transmission components.

A GROUP

No.3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 6

Small-size catalogue group. The dimensional pages show the compact motor-mounted arrangement used on the A models.

C GROUP

No.7 / 8

Medium-size catalogue group with separate shaft, pulley / belt and motor arrangement.

E GROUP

No.10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20

Large-size catalogue group. Performance tables include V-belt, fan pulley, motor pulley and motor guide-rail data.

The original 4-79 catalogue tables span the A, C and E model groups. The values below describe the documented envelope rather than one operating point.

Reference condition: air temperature 20°C, density 1.2 kg/m³ and atmospheric pressure 101325 Pa. Final selection must match airflow and pressure from the same model / speed row.

Buyer FAQ

4-79 Centrifugal Ventilation Fan FAQ

What is the 4-79 centrifugal ventilation fan used for?

It is used for indoor air supply and exhaust, large-building air exchange, factory and workshop ventilation, warehouse circulation, machinery-room exhaust and other ordinary industrial ventilation duties within the documented operating limits.

What is the documented 4-79 model range?

The original catalogue pages supplied for this series cover No.3A through No.20E, including A, C and E groups.

What is the catalogue airflow range?

Across the documented 4-79 tables, the overall airflow range is approximately 990 to 226,500 m³/h. Final selection must match the pressure and airflow from the same operating row.

Standard catalogue duty allows dust / hard particles up to 150 mg/m³ with no sticky material and no gas corrosive to steel. Conditions outside this boundary require another material or fan-series review.

What is the standard gas-temperature limit?

The original catalogue states that gas temperature should not exceed 80°C for standard duty.

What information should I send before quotation?

Send airflow, pressure, medium, temperature, preferred arrangement if known, rotation, discharge position, voltage, frequency, quantity and any drawing or replacement information available.
