Boiler & High Temperature Fans

QIYUE FAN · Boiler & High-Temperature Fan Category

Boiler Fan Manufacturer for ID, FD and High-Temperature Duty

Induced Draft Fans · Forced Draft Fans · Hot-Gas Exhaust Fans

QIYUE FAN manufactures boiler induced draft fans, forced draft fans and high-temperature centrifugal fans for boiler rooms, combustion-air systems, furnace exhaust, flue-gas extraction, dust-removal systems and industrial thermal processes.

Selection starts with the fan position in the boiler system. Airflow, total pressure, gas temperature, dust loading, collector resistance, duct loss, operating time, control method and motor margin are then reviewed against the real working point.

01 · Primary Product-Family Entrances

Choose the Boiler Fan Family Before Comparing Models

First determine whether the project requires combustion-air supply, flue-gas extraction or high-temperature process-gas handling. Then compare the individual fan models in the complete product section below.

Flue-Gas Exhaust Family
Boiler Induced Draft Fans
Installed after the boiler or dust collector to extract flue gas and support negative furnace pressure. Review temperature, dust loading and the complete exhaust resistance route.
View Induced Draft Fans →
Combustion-Air Family
Boiler Forced Draft Fans
Installed before the furnace to supply clean or preheated combustion air. Review burner demand, air-side resistance, damper control and motor margin.
View Forced Draft Fans →
Thermal-Duty Family
High-Temperature Industrial Fans
For furnace, kiln, boiler and thermal-process gas handling. Review continuous and peak temperature, gas composition, dust wear, material, thermal expansion and bearing protection.

02 · Boiler Air & Gas Route

Match the Fan to the Complete Boiler Draft Route

A boiler fan should not be selected only by boiler tonnage or motor power. The correct direction depends on fan position, system resistance and whether the medium is clean combustion air, hot flue gas, dusty exhaust or high-temperature process gas.

01
Air Inlet
Fresh or preheated combustion air
02
FD Fan
Pushes air toward the furnace
03
Boiler / Furnace
Combustion and heat exchange
04
Dust Removal
Collector · damper · duct loss
05
ID Fan
Pulls flue gas toward chimney

04 · Selection Matrix

Choose Boiler Fans by Fan Position and Gas Condition

Use the operating position and medium condition to identify the first model direction. Final selection still requires a fan curve and confirmed duty point.

Small / Standard Boiler Flue Gas
After boiler or dust-removal section. Review negative pressure, gas temperature, collector resistance and compact layout. First directions: Y6-30 / Y5-47.
Combustion-Air Supply
Before furnace or burner air side. Review airflow, burner demand, duct and damper resistance, control method and motor standard. Use FD-family review first.
Higher-Resistance Boiler Exhaust
Long duct, collector resistance or chimney pressure loss requires greater pressure reserve. Review Y8-39 / Y9-38, Y5-48 or another higher-pressure direction.
High-Temperature Furnace / Kiln Exhaust
Review continuous and peak temperature, gas composition, dust, material, bearing cooling, thermal expansion and installation before confirming a fan series.
05 · Pressure Loss Review

Where Boiler Fan Pressure Demand Comes From

LOSS 01
Boiler Pass Resistance
Heating surfaces, furnace passages and boiler structure create base resistance.
LOSS 02
Dust Collector
Bag filters, cyclones and wet scrubbers can add significant ID-fan pressure load.
LOSS 03
Duct & Elbow Loss
Long ducts, elbows, reducers and transitions must be included in pressure calculation.
CHECK POINT
Do Not Select by Motor Power
Motor power is reviewed after airflow, pressure, temperature, efficiency and working point.

Boiler and High-Temperature Fan Selection Questions

What is the difference between a forced draft fan and an induced draft fan?
A forced draft fan supplies combustion air before the furnace. An induced draft fan extracts flue gas after the boiler or dust-removal equipment and supports negative pressure.
Why is dust collector resistance important for an ID fan?
The ID fan must overcome the resistance of the boiler, duct, collector, dampers and chimney. Underestimating this route can cause insufficient draft after installation.
When should a high-temperature fan be reviewed?
Review a high-temperature configuration when the medium exceeds normal ventilation temperature or when continuous furnace, kiln or thermal-process hot gas must be handled.
What data is required before QIYUE FAN recommends a model?
Send boiler capacity, fan role, airflow, pressure, gas temperature, dust collector resistance, gas condition, voltage, rotation, outlet direction and installation layout.
