01 / Engineering Overview

Flue-Gas Extraction for Boiler Induced Draft Systems

Y4-68 is a centrifugal induced draft fan designed for boiler flue-gas extraction and industrial exhaust duties. It operates on the downstream side of the combustion process, drawing flue gas through the boiler, ductwork and gas-cleaning equipment.

Compared with the G4-68 forced draft fan, Y4-68 must be selected with additional attention to gas temperature, dust loading and system resistance. Published reference service allows flue-gas temperatures up to 250°C.

Y4-68 = Induced Draft
Use Y4-68 for boiler flue-gas extraction. For clean-air combustion supply, use the G4-68 forced draft series.
