FBD Series Explosion-Proof Press-In Counter-Rotating Local Ventilation Fan is mainly used for underground coal mine heading faces, mining roadways, chambers and tunnel ventilation projects.

It is designed to deliver fresh air to the working face through press-in ventilation. The fan adopts a two-stage counter-rotating axial flow structure and can be used as a complete unit or by stages according to different ventilation resistance requirements.

Designed to Deliver Fresh Air to Underground Working Faces

FBD Series is different from an extractive local ventilation fan. It is used for press-in ventilation, sending fresh air through the air duct to underground heading faces, chambers and roadway excavation areas.

The fan can be placed on the roadway floor or suspended on the roadway wall. It is suitable for coal mine underground local ventilation where the gas temperature is -20°C to +40°C and the dust content of the conveyed air is not more than 200 mg/m³.

The fan should be installed in an intake airflow where methane concentration is below the approved safety limit. If methane concentration exceeds the permitted value, power must be cut off according to coal mine safety requirements.
