01 / Engineering Overview

Axial Smoke Exhaust Fan for Emergency Fire Ventilation

HTF-Ⅰ is a single-speed axial-flow fan intended for emergency smoke extraction and high-temperature exhaust duties in fire-protection ventilation systems. The series covers nominal fan sizes from No.3.5 to No.15.

Selection should be based on the required smoke exhaust airflow, system resistance, temperature duty, installation arrangement and electrical requirements rather than fan diameter alone.

Fire Smoke Exhaust Is the Primary Duty
Project fire temperature, required operating duration and applicable local fire-safety standards should be confirmed before final production and quotation.
02 / Fire & Temperature Duty

Temperature Duty Must Match the Fire-Smoke Requirement

Emergency Duty
Designed for emergency smoke extraction rather than ordinary continuous comfort ventilation as the primary operating condition.
Smoke Temperature
Specify the required fire-smoke temperature and operating duration when requesting selection or quotation.
Normal Ventilation
If one system must also provide daily ventilation, state the normal operating airflow and control requirement separately.
Compliance
Required local fire code, project specification, test standard and documentation package must be confirmed for each export project.
03 / Construction

Compact Axial Configuration for Smoke Exhaust Systems

01
Axial Impeller
Axial-flow impeller matched to the required airflow and pressure duty point.
02
Cylindrical Casing
Compact inline casing suitable for connection to smoke-exhaust ductwork.
03
Motor Assembly
Motor configuration is selected according to fan size, operating duty and project electrical requirements.
04
Mounting Base
Base and casing dimensions vary by size and should be checked against the installation drawing before fabrication of supports.

HTF-Ⅰ Fire Smoke Exhaust Fan Questions

What is the HTF-Ⅰ fan used for?
HTF-Ⅰ is primarily used for emergency fire-smoke extraction and high-temperature exhaust in mechanical smoke-control systems.
What sizes are available?
The reference series covers No.3.5 through No.15, with nominal impeller diameters from 350 to 1500 mm.
What is the airflow range?
The reference performance table covers approximately 3,350 to 93,800 m³/h.
What pressure range does HTF-Ⅰ cover?
Reference operating points cover approximately 280 to 840 Pa. Final selection must match the actual duct-system resistance.
Can HTF-Ⅰ be used as a normal ventilation fan?
HTF-Ⅰ is positioned primarily for fire-smoke exhaust. If daily ventilation is also required, provide both the normal and emergency operating requirements so the configuration can be reviewed.
What information is required for a quotation?
Send airflow, pressure, smoke temperature and duration, installation method, voltage, frequency, quantity and the applicable fire-safety specification.
Can the motor voltage and frequency be customized?
Motor configuration can be reviewed according to project voltage, frequency and electrical requirements.
Should installation dimensions be confirmed before ordering?
Yes. Confirm the selected size and final approved drawing before manufacturing duct flanges, support frames or foundations.
