Industrial Fan Replacement & Spare Parts

Replacement Starts with the Existing Equipment

Industrial Fan Replacement Is an Engineering Match, Not a Catalogue Search

The objective is to confirm what the existing fan must do, what it must fit and what the replacement must withstand before manufacturing a suitable new fan or replacement component. QIYUE FAN reviews operating duty, mechanical interface and site conditions together rather than selecting from the old model name alone.

01 · Existing Fan

Identify the Installed Equipment

Old model, manufacturer, nameplate, drawing, photo, motor data, serial number and available installation dimensions.
02 · Engineering Review

Match Duty and Installation

Airflow, pressure, medium, temperature, rotation, outlet direction, material, motor and site interface are reviewed together.
03 · New Manufacturing

Manufacture for the Confirmed Duty

The final fan or component is produced against the confirmed working point and configuration, not simply copied from a model label.
When Replacement Is Needed

Common Triggers Behind Industrial Fan Replacement Projects

Replacement demand usually begins when reliability, sourcing difficulty, process changes or production continuity become more important than continuing to repair an aging unit.

01
Original manufacturer is no longer available or the old series has been discontinued.
02
Imported spare parts have long lead times, high cost or uncertain availability.
03
Current fan performance, reliability, corrosion resistance or wear condition no longer meets site requirements.
04
A plant upgrade requires a new fan to fit an existing duct, foundation or equipment interface.
Replacement Workflow

From Old Equipment Evidence to a Confirmed Replacement Direction

Customers do not need to know the final QIYUE model before sending an inquiry. Existing records identify the old equipment, while airflow and static or total pressure define the replacement duty that must be confirmed before final selection.

01
Send Existing Records
Model, nameplate, photographs, GA drawing, curve, old data sheet and motor information.
02
Confirm Operating Duty
Required airflow and static or total pressure must be stated or verified before final selection.
03
Check the Interface
Rotation, outlet angle, inlet/outlet size, foundation, motor, voltage and available space.
04
Confirm Replacement Scope
Manufacture a new fan or confirmed component against the verified performance and mechanical requirements.
Replacement Data Checklist

Confirm the Duty First. Use Old Records to Verify the Replacement.

Airflow and static or total pressure are mandatory for final fan selection. Nameplates, photos, drawings, curves and motor details support equipment identification and help confirm whether the proposed replacement fits the original installation.

Existing Fan Identification
Old model, manufacturer, nameplate, photos, original quotation, serial number, GA drawing or old datasheet.
Mandatory Operating Duty
Airflow plus static or total pressure are required. Fan size, motor kW, rpm and the old curve help trace the previous duty but do not replace Q / P.
Installation & Interface
Rotation, discharge angle, inlet and outlet dimensions, duct connection, foundation, motor arrangement, maintenance access and space limitation.
Electrical & Special Requirements
Voltage, frequency, motor protection, project-specific explosion-proof requirements, material, corrosion, wear, temperature and documentation needs.
Replacement Duty Confirmation

Old Drawings and Curves Help Trace the Duty - Airflow and Pressure Must Still Be Confirmed

Many replacement enquiries include a GA drawing, performance curve, motor power and speed but omit the stated duty point. These records help identify the existing fan arrangement and likely operating range, but they do not replace the required airflow and pressure data for final selection.

Required Before Final Replacement Confirmation
Send the old general arrangement drawing, performance curve, motor kW, rpm, voltage and available nameplate or photographs. These records can be used to trace fan size, speed, curve range, rotation, inlet/outlet interface and installation arrangement. The required airflow and static or total pressure must then be provided or verified against the actual system. Motor power alone is not a fan-selection basis.
Old Data Can Confirm
Fan construction, approximate curve range, speed, motor arrangement, rotation, discharge direction and mechanical interfaces.
Project Data Must Confirm
Required airflow, required pressure, actual process medium, temperature, operating condition and current system requirements.

• Motor and drive arrangement
• Base, coupling or belt drive
• Confirmed inlet / outlet interface
Spare Part Supply

Confirmed Replacement Components

• Impeller
• Fan casing

Spare-part feasibility depends on the condition of the existing fan, available dimensions and drawings, interface compatibility and the component scope that can be reliably confirmed.
Product Family Directions

Typical Industrial Fan Replacement Directions After Duty Confirmation

These are product-family starting points rather than automatic substitutions. Final selection depends on confirmed airflow, pressure, old-curve correlation, speed, mechanical interface, medium and installation condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Industrial Fan Replacement Questions

Can you replace a fan when the original model is unavailable?

Yes. Send the available nameplate, photograph, drawing or curve together with required airflow and static or total pressure. The replacement is reviewed from the real duty and interface rather than only the model name.

Can a new fan fit the existing duct and foundation?

This must be checked before final selection. Inlet and outlet dimensions, rotation, discharge angle, foundation, motor arrangement and maintenance space are part of the replacement review.

Do you supply industrial fan spare parts as well as complete replacement fans?

Yes. Possible spare parts include impellers, casings, inlet cones, shafts, bearing housings and transmission-related components. Feasibility depends on drawings, dimensions and existing equipment condition.

What information is essential before final replacement selection?

Airflow and static or total pressure are required. Also provide medium, temperature, power supply, installation direction and quantity. Old fan records help verify the old duty but do not replace Q / P.

Can you support centrifugal blower replacement for an existing process line?

Yes. Confirm required airflow, static or total pressure, process medium, temperature, installation arrangement and power supply. Old curves, drawings and motor data are then used to verify the proposed duty and mechanical interface.
Start a Replacement Review

Send the Confirmed Duty Together with the Old Fan Records

Send airflow and static or total pressure together with the nameplate, drawing, performance curve, photographs, motor data or site information. QIYUE FAN can use these records to review the replacement direction and required component scope.
